We believe that music is made for listenin', hearin', living...but it's not possible to explain it! To all of you visitors of this site, we'd like to say only few words about our project...while you read these lines, you can listen to the music!

Stè is a project by Stefania Rizzello (a.k.a Stè), - vocals and percussions - and Fabio Girotti,- trumpet - started with the aim of writing original songs, that can express our musical intentions, emotions, that speaks of us.
Our purpose is to set up music beyond any category, not compressed within the boundaries of a definite musical genre, that often limit the creativity. In all the tracks, you can find many influences - funky, soul, rock, jazz, latin...let us know your opinion! (go to the contact section). The choice of the language of the lyrics - italian or english - is done exclusively by expressive and musical sense.

The 7 tracks you can listen in this site form "Input", our first auto-produced demo, that show a tasting of our music...other songs are ready to be recorded! All the lyrics are by Stefania, the music are composed together by Stefania and Fabio.

For the arrangements and the recording we had the collaboration of a group of strong and very creative musicians, that decided to take part at this project: many thanks to all of them! Of course, the voice and the percussions in all the tracks are by Stefania and the trumpet is played by Fabio.

"This is happiness too" has been recorded with the "SoulTanto Soul Band": Gabriele Roda (bass), Bruno Storti (electric piano), Carlo Meneghetti (guitars), Paolo Sacchi (drums), Alessandro Londrillo (tenor sax), Giulia Casadio e Ilaria Piana (background vocals). All the other tracks has been recorded with the Rule Breakers: Lorenzo Perini (guitars), Igor Lallai (bass), Nikolas Pumilia (drums) and Luca Mattei (piano and keyboards in Vita and in Free). Clap your hands for Matteo De Biagi, the sound engineer that take care of the recording and mixing of all the songs at the Noise Studio of Massalombarda (Ra), for Simon the graphic art director of this site (and of our demo) and, last but not least, for Giulia, la nostra webmaster!

With the Rule Breakers we did an intense live activity in club, festival, TV programs, radio broadcastings, etc. that give us the positive feelings of the audience about our music and good reviews by the critics: we reached the finals of some national and international contests: "Festival delle Arti", "Trimi's Festival", "Bar Wolf contest" and we were selected by the radio program DEMO that broadcast nationally (RADIO RAI 1 - the first channel of the public radio) our tracks many times. We were invited, to represent Italy, at the Zvecan International Rock Festival in Serbia.

Our goal is to continue to write new songs and to find someone (a producer, a label, a discographic company) that allow us to present our music at the best, to make it listen to the people! We have just received some proposals....but at the moment we don't have any discographic contract...if you have interests in our project don't miss the opportunity!
