Stè is Stefania Rizzello, born in Bologna 27/4/1977, but she's very proud of her Salento's origin!

She began her artistic career in 1998, taking part as soloist at many music contests, broadcasted by local TVs. She reached the finals.
From 1999 she started the live activity as lead singers of several rock and hard-rock bands of the Bologna area, we quote the PIGS MIGHT FLY.
From 1999 to 2001 she's the lead singer of powerful hard-rock band IN-SIDE, with which win the "Sonoria" musical contest at the Queen Victoria pub of Pieve di Cento (Bologna), and play in many festivals, parties and club (Tattertoon, Manhattan, Sacro Profano, etc.). She shows vocals gifts with a personal timbre and a deep interpretation and proves to have a strong stage impact and to be able to be involved the audience.

From november of 2000 she establish, together with rock-blues musician, the SoulTanto band, with which propose original arrangements of soul, R'N'B, funky and acid-jazz hits, that show her deep black timbre. They tape a studio demo-cd and make many live recordings.
With the SOULTANTO Soul band she sings in clubs (Giostrà, Nuova Luna, Capital Town, Moebius, Le Scuderie, Valle Reno, La Capannina, Flamengo, Bolero Palace, Toscanella Swing, Villa Angeletti, etc), festivals (SantíAgostino Blues Festival, MonghidoRock, ecc.), summer reviews (Summer at Vicolo Bolognetti, Estragon Space at Bologna's North Park, Music at Bologna's Fine Arts Academy, etc.), Tv programs (Ciak si ride at VideoRegione Emilia-Romagna). These are also opportunities to collaborate and make jam sessions with international artists. In 2003 the SoulTanto win the regional selections of SanRemo Rock, reaching the national finals in Sanremo. The specialized magazine "Guitars" speaks of this event with these words "naturally that some bands leave a deeper mark than others, in particular we would quote the SoulTanto, that play a draggin' soul-funky".

From july 2001 she's the lead vocals of the pop-rock group XXL, with which sings in public square festivities and famous clubs (for example Pappagaillot, Giostrà, etc..) in and outside Emilia Romagna: she reachs the goal to associate versatility skills to the ability to personalize the songs of a very big repertoire. This group has recorded a 10 tracks demo-cd. It's also to remember a jam-sessions during a private party with the "Stadio" a famous italian band.

In 2002 she founds an acoustic duo, voice and guitar, named BLACK MOON & FIRE, with which play in club of the bologna's scene un-plugged covers of '70 hard-rock songs and melodic metal: it's the chance to get back to her first music love.
Beside this project she collaborate with other bands (LILLIPUT, HOT BOX, etc.), that covering the rock hits of the '70-'80.

Beside the experiences over cited, she goes on with the soloist live activity, singin' at Rimini leg of the Tim Tour 2002, hosted by Red Ronnie and broadcasted by Stream TV and in the show "Life's Harmonies" (filmed by Nuova Rete TV), happened in april 2003 at Dehon Theatre in Bologna and repleied in a few municipality near Bologna, together with well known artists such as Iskra Menarinie Marco Lorusso.
As a soloist she has also reached the finals at the Festival delle Arti 2003, with the artistc direction of Andrea Mingardi, held at the "Festa Nazionale dell'Unità" and broadcasted by E'-TV.

In 2003-2004 she attends the vocals and musical theory lessons of Miss Tania Bellanca, mastering the jazz repertoire.

From 2003 she begins to compose original songs and founds, beside FabiO Girotti, a band named RULE BREAKERS...you can know all about this in the PROGETTOsection of this site.

Parallel she goes on with collaborations with other cover bands, with which she has the chance to sing he beloved funky and r'n'b music: are high profile bands, such as ONION FACE (2004) and MASTER MOOVIN’ (2005). She collaborates also with professionals active in the Bologna scene, as musicians and as teachers: Marco Raimondi, Giuseppe Bosi (Music Academy), Paolo Zenatello etc. and she takes part at many projects (BLOCKBUSTER BLUES BROTHERS BAND/ MOTHERFUNKERS, ecc.) with the aim of doing live exibitions.

The musical studies and the live experience, brings her to develop interest in other musical styles - jazz, swing, latin, song books - deepening the knownledge and taking part at many projects, for example to join her currently group, the "SCACCO AL RE". She has never forgotten the old passion for rock, and from 2006 she collaborate with the rock-band STONE FREE e SCACCO AL RE.
